The Healthy Mind Foundation is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through accessible health education. We believe that knowledge is the foundation of better choices and better health.
Founded in 2024 by Dr. Mitra Maharaj, an Occupational Medicine Physician, and his wife Mrs. Mala Moonilal-Maharaj, a Pharmacist, the Foundation was born out of their shared passion for genuinely helping people live healthier, fuller lives.
Our mission is simple: to raise awareness, encourage healthier lifestyles, and improve overall well-being across Trinidad and Tobago. By partnering with schools, workplaces, religious institutions, and community groups, we bring health information directly to the people who need it most.
From school talks and workplace lectures to health fairs and voluntary blood drives, we create opportunities for learning, conversation, and positive change. We focus on prevention, awareness, and empowerment because your health is your wealth.
